Thanks to active road noise compensation, the already quiet interior becomes even quieter.

 

A visual highlight of the interior is the large central display in portrait form that features OLED technology. Innovative MBUX takes driving pleasure to new heights with high-resolution touchscreens or voice-controlled operation. The systems are designed to adapt to your comfort and learn your needs in terms of temperature, music an even the signature Maybach Mood fragrance.

 

All Maybach models feature a centre console that incorporates the brands signature waterfall design, the Manufaktur backrest trim in wood, comfort doors that open at the touch of a button and an automatic seatbelt feeder that comes to you as you take your seat. A calf massage and heated neck cushions ensure a vehicular experience like no other

 

Under the bonnet

The Mercedes-Maybach will be available in South Africa with two engine choices, The S 580 4MATIC utilises a 4.0-litre V8 engine coupled to a 48 V on board electrical system to offer a total power output of 385kW and 900Nm. The powerful S 680 4MATIC utilises a 6.0-litre V12 engine that boasts 450kW and 900Nm.
