First Gazoo Racing Dealer Zone opens at Motus Toyota Bedfordview

Motus Toyota Bedfordview have opened the first of its kind, Gazoo Racing Dealer Zone, which is the latest strategic arm of the growing Toyota Gazoo Racing brand.

This pilot programme aims to bring the world of GR to fans and build on the racing success achieved by Toyota Gazoo Racing on a global scale with the aim of growing GR as an iconic, global performance brand while providing customers with a tailored performance motoring experience.

Utilising bespoke shop fitment, a merchandise area, digital features and a motorsport inspired environment, the GR Zone is a one-stop-shop for motoring enthusiasts to experience the GR Brand within their community.

The GR Zone is easily identifiable by bespoke external signage and features state of the art technology that takes advantage of the broadening GR and GR Sport product offerings while providing an interactive space where guests can engage with the GR product line and brand.

At present the GR product line-up consists of three bespoke GR models including the GR86, GR Supra and GR Yaris as well as three GR Sport models in the form of the Corolla Cross GR-S, Hilux GR-S and Land Cruiser 300 GR-S. The much anticipated GR Corolla is due to make its local debut imminently giving fans a seventh GR model to choose from.

The GR Zone will be managed by specially trained technical and sales personnel that are able to adequately host guests who are interacting with the brand for the first time.

The first GR Zone open day was held on Saturday 6 May at Motus Toyota Bedfordview and was a fun-filled day for petrolheads with a variety of GR models on display alongside official TGR race machinery, as well as attendance by 86 and GR Supra car clubs.

Toyota South Africa are considering more such locations across the country, however the Gazoo Racing Dealer Zone will remain exclusive and limited to selected dealers such as Motus Toyota Bedfordview who are strategically located to grow the GR brand.
