Limited edition Toyota Hilux Raider X features unique exterior

The Toyota Hilux range has been bolstered by the addition of limited-edition Hilux Raider X models.

Based on the Raider 2.4 GD-6 4x4 the newcomer replaces the standard Raider 2.4 4x4 variants for a limited period and are easily distinguished thanks to a bespoke exterior package.

Exclusive exterior

Exclusive exterior features include all-new 17-inch, bi-tone, diamond-polished, chrome and black multi-spoke alloy wheels, chunky matt black over fenders with distinctive red insert detailing, a chrome inset bar with Hilux badging, louvre matt black styling bar and integrated tonneau cover as well as unique Raider X badging.

Adding an extra dose of practicality is a fully rubberised cargo bed and a spring-loaded tailgate assist function which makes light work of opening and closing the tailgate.

Under the bonnet

Under the bonnet of the Raider X is the proven 2.4-litre diesel powerplant employing DOHC 16-valve, inline four-cylinder architecture and delivering 110kW and 400Nm while using 7,6 litres per 100km in manual guise and 7,7 litres per 100km in automatic configuration.

Upgraded interior

The interior includes a variety of standard comfort and convenience features including  cruise control, a TFT multi-info display within the instrument cluster, a large screen display that facilitates Apple CarPlay, Android and Bluetooth functionality, steering wheel controls for audio, telephone, info display and voice commands as well as a reverse camera.

Ensuring occupant safety is a comprehensive array of active and passive safety systems including ABS with EBD, traction control, vehicle stability control, hill assist control and trailer sway control. Passive safety features include a full suite of airbags comprising side, curtain, driver, passenger, and driver knee airbags. Front and rear park distance control with visual and audio warnings assist with tricky manoeuvres. Taking care of security is the latest state of the art anti-theft system comprising an immobilizer alarm with intrusion sensor.
