Land Rover’s SV Bespoke department has built a special edition Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition in celebration of the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, ahead of its global release later this month.

Inspired by the specification of the Defenders that appear in the movie, the special edition is available to order as a 110 or a 90. The stealthy Defender V8 Bond Edition is fitted with an Extended Black Pack with 22-inch Luna Gloss Black alloy wheels, signature Xenon Blue front brake calipers and Defender 007 rear badging.

The interior is decorated with Defender 007 treadplates, 007 puddle lamp graphics and a special touchscreen start-up animation for the Pivi Pro infotainment system.

Bond Edition Defenders are limited to 300 units worldwide, with just five units destined for South Africa. Laser etched numbering on the interior confirms this exclusivity alongside a SV Bespoke logo.

The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is an exclusive take on the most powerful production Defender ever made and represents a meeting of two great British brands and a celebration of Land Rovers 38-year association with the famous special agent.

No Time To Die sees Defenders at the heart of the action, alongside two Range Rover Sport SVRs as well as a Range Rover Classic and Land Rover Series III.

The Defender V8 Bond Edition is powered by a 5.0-litre 386kW supercharged petrol engine, that boasts 625Nm of torque, allowing it to complete the 0-100km/h sprint in just 5.2 seconds.

The powerful V8 engine offers performance and an engaging driver experience as it combines with expertly developed suspension and transmission tuning, culminating in the fastest most dynamically rewarding Defender to date.

This suspension and transmission tuning includes bespoke spring and damper rates and a new Electronic Active Rear Differential ensuring more agile and engaging handling with heightened body control.

No Time To Die will be released in South Africa on1 October.
