The new Volkswagen Amarok, which was designed in Germany and Australia, is built in South Africa at Ford’s Silverton plant. Local production makes it easier for Volkswagen to bring additional models to market as part of an extensive product portfolio and facilitated the return of the Volkswagen Amarok single cab to the market.

The Amarok features a powerful look and feel. The new charismatic front end is especially striking and features a straight and very upright bonnet while retaining clear Volkswagen DNA.
